People are missing the forest for the trees. Technically, neither the suspension nor the termination are relevant to the hot button issue.
In all the chaos people forget that Selen hasn't actually bothered to contest the termination in the slightest - she hasn't even brought it up except in the context that she asked to graduate earlier and was terminated instead. Yes, many people feel that the termination is unjustified as well for various reasons, but it's not the centerpiece of the case by a long shot, it's just the icing on the cake.
The main issue, because Anycolor so stupidly published that hit piece, is the harassment that took place at the company long before the MV. In fact, the only way I can see the MV publication being relevant would make things worse for Anycolor - for example, if a plausible chain of events was presented that could be illustrated to directly or indirectly lead to her actions in releasing the MV, by showing a persistent, recurring pattern of managerial neglect, delays, and nitpicking.
If they had just published a termination notice with nothing except the MV issue and anyone made noise, then they could easily just say, 'yeah Selen did X and that justifies termination, here are the rules'.
Then if Selen doesn't publish anything, people can argue all day long about whether the termination is justified but both parties can go on their way, nothing else happens.
If Selen publishes a long diatribe after termination, then she's the one being antagonistic and looking menhera, like she's desperately trying to make excuses to show how she was unfairly terminated, and Anycolor can dare her to sue them for it while sitting cool and denying everything. Well, that is, if her accusations are truly baseless.
Instead they were so scared shitless of the second possibility, of her making accusations of harassment against them first, that they decided to dump everything out first so they could cast it in a favorable light, which turned out to not be so favorable after all. One has to wonder what they are so terrified of.
