>>68939346Exactly what they did with Selen. They shat on her internally, unilaterally terminated her contract for dubious reasons, released a hitpiece statement attacking her character and twisting words to justify terminating her and then used the organs as mouthpieces to shit on her.
Unlike Selen, Zaion was new to the company, didn't have a big or dedicated following and had made a few minor mistakes on stream (ie making some bawdy jokes) that got her in trouble with the twitter crowd. As a result there was no groundswell of support for her like we see with Selen. The wider public took Nijisanji's word at face value, shat on her and moved on. The public abuse influenced her decision to not press charges and simply try to distance herself from the drama and recover privately.
It only became apparent in hindsight that a largely innocent talent had been smeared by a petty corporation trying to save face and the incident made the public far more vigilant of Nijisanji's conduct. When it became clear their relationship with Selen was deteriorating there was widespread speculation they may attempt to pull another Zaion--and they did. In part because Selen was far more well known, and in part because the move had been expected, there was significantly more backlash this time as it not only became clear Selen was being smeared, but retroactively confirmed suspicions that Zaion had been similarly mistreated.
