They waged war on Zaion too. They literally wheeled out half the branch and told them to character assassinate Zaion and talk about her as badly as they could, on stream.
The difference is that they kind of won because Zaion was too small and irrelevant to fight back on top of having made actual mistakes that people could point to, so she just simply lost the narrative war.
They normally try to ignore drama unless it comes to terminations, then they go on the offensive HARD so that the "other side" can't take control of the narrative. This is probably what caused the self-incrimination that looks so utterly bizarre and self-sabotaging from the outside.
They tried to get "ahead" of the story because they feared Selen would smear them once she was out, but in doing so they just showed how blatant their character assassination tactics were. And that's not even counting the fact that Selen is 100% in the right.
