If they let it go or kept silent, just let the online shitstorm die, internally fix their shitty management and fight the lawsuit on private then the impact would've been way lower and Doki wouldn't keep this stream of subs and support.
But niji screwing it over and over only helps to keep the support for Doki alive.
She's getting big thanks to being a victim and THEY KEEP ATTACKING, it's like the best possible result for her.
