Realistically how does Elira return from this? She'll have to address it if she ever does stream again. If she doubles down, she's finished. If she backpedals that will open up for even more questioning, such as why she agreed to allow provably wrong statements to be said on her channel, why she seemingly cares more for the company's reputation than the life of one of her colleagues, and why she was even allowed to read the document in the first place. If she says nothing then it's still bad, then she's allowing the allegations run wild that she's got management's fist elbow deep in her ass and she's allowing them to puppet her.
Realistically, between doubling down, backpedalling, and saying nothing, the best option would be to backpedal. For this to work management would need to have some fucking integrity and be willing to take the fall, but we all know that would never happen. So, the only real scenario I can see in her future is a graduation.
