>>69147960Uhh... even if you're threatened with a lawsuit and then fired, you still can't illegally fire people. Depending on the region, there's generally a grace period for termination during hospitalization due to work-related reasons and even non-work related reasons. You get a lawyer involved as early as possible because, for one thing, such termination doesn't just come suddenly, for another, if you're not financially stable, you want this resolved as soon as possible.
Also workplace harassment and supposedly reporting to higher ups (lol you fucking report to HR first thing my guy), I don't understand why doing those first somehow prevents you from also involving lawyers so the proceedings are lawful.
I'm not actually sure you understand the implication of bringing a lawyer into something. It doesn't automatically somehow mean that there's gonna be a lawsuit. Many times you involve a lawyer as a consultant so that there isn't anything unlawful that happens during a complicated employment situation.
Doki herself has claimed that she never sent them legal documents with the intent to sue, so not sure why you're going off on how she should've just taken a punch in the face. I hope that one day, you also don't simply just take it in the face and, to avoid a similar confusion, consult a fucking lawyer
