>>69158904Counter counterpoint: If they're having Elira read sensitive legal information instead of the following people
>a lawyer>A pr manager>a rep for the company>a manager for the company>Mr. yacht himself>a desk secretary then they already fucked up. Putting aside the fact that isn't her job and being a legal rep for Nijisanji is certainly not in her job description: Elira is the last person you want trying to get details on sensitive matters absolutely correct and anyone who has seen her for even a passing minute knows that names and details become a passing fog with each day.
Not to say she's STUPID, but-
Yeah. ok. She's kind of dumb.
This is why preparing a script isn't something she would do. She would make it in crayon and half of the names on it would be canadian prime minsters, also half of hte margins would have among us memes.
>>69159103>I mean, you could hear Ike turning the fucking page of his statement. So why are people mad at ike, kyo, elira?
this is clearly a human shield tactic. if they're "dumb enough" to read from the dossier incriminating themselves in a separate matter from the fact they were put up to incriminating themselves by the people who are responsible in the first place.
every country that isn't a tinpot dictatorship has laws against self-incriminating for exactly the reason Elira is blameless for this statement. someone puts a gun to your head, orders you to threaten the president, are you at fault? Even if it's not a real gun and it's just "do it or you're fired", are you still at fault? the entirety of western legal theory says "no"
