They backed away from that direction mostly, but the branding was already done, so might as well continue
I'm quite sure 5ch also agrees that this was the intention for the branch. Right up until Ririka decided to nuke her Unicorns, they were praising her and implying that she'd grow a lot better without the Regloss branding.
