I would say she probably forced herself into a friendly position, after realizing the power dynamics at play internally. It's not difficult to pick up on office politics and mean girl cliques if you've seen them before.
The only real question you can have here is how aware she was of the shit that was going on, not so much that she took part in any of it. -not in the clique
-not particularly close to selen
