>>69287198Back before he started covering political shit which made me unsub a long time ago, I remember watching Legal Eagle who did similar things. But he once did a legal perspective review of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory using American Federal Law, which to me was fucking stupid. Yes, technically the story does not state where it takes place in the book, but I feel like a it would fit better to apply British law if he had to apply any. And it wasn't just this, he did this for other non-American settings. I think these lawyer Youtubers should really, really take the country things take place in before they weight in instead of drama chasing, especially if they don't know the ins and outs of a foreign country's laws.
However, I think it would be interesting for a Canadian lawyer or someone more familiar with their legal system to do one about this if he is properly familiar with the facts of the case.
