The hard part is due to how you reached that level, you can have two gold core cultivators (it's like the third step in their cultivation path) be really different depending on how you many resources you used on them, the weakest gold core you can have is unable to beat most enemies of that stage. But yeah you can fuck around and then do a serious playthrough if you liked what you played
