If this is truly just preventative, then the good news is that there won't be any chemoprevention needed and she could, assuming the surgery went well, she is healthy, and sadly has the money for it, immediately undergo breast reconstruction surgery.
To be sure, very invasive procedures, and things like this are sure to bring me down, hell I don't even watch her/knew she existed before this, but I truly hope that all goes well.
As you guys have said, sure, she doesn't need her breasts to live, but following that logic you don't "need" many things to live, but having being born with all her anatomical and physiological faculties in place, you'd sure as hell miss them. Like it or not, big or small, breasts are a part of a woman's identity, sexual or otherwise.
