Im asking genuinely. Was there some kind of famous Japanese tiktoker that made a compilation or something and it trended in Japan? Because that’s the only reason I can think of how that can happen. It doesn’t seem like the rest of the internet where memes gradually trickle through some kind of spread, in Japan it comes in with a full force (extremely late) and everyone jumps on it
