PDR (japanese youtuber) put out a video about the doki situation, and the comments were surprisingly in support of Doki for the most part, but the most interesting part of it was a commenter that pointed out that the reason Japanese Nijifans are mostly on Niji's side is because of what happened with Meiro in Niji JP.

Meiro was also terminated after claiming she was harassed and bullied by people in company (chiefly Roa) and then in the aftermath they discovered she was a mythic bitch despite the early sympathy she got and everyone turned on her. Perhaps the Japanese just saw Selen as a Meiro 2.0? But even then, I have a hard time understanding it because i feel like Selen was WAAAAAY more involved in her community and much less combative while she was in the company when compared to Meiro who fanned flames constantly.
