>>69606582There are a couple real issues mainly with the theme and aesthetic of cases being all over the fucking place instead of working with an idea and building on each other the way the other games do. Apollo himself is an absolute noncharacter, less substantial at his best that Phoenix in the Steel Samurai case and they just never bother to do anything with him. He's frequently just there to sit on the bench while someone else does the actual case for him.
The Prosecutors are all really bland. Especially Klavier. I don't know what the fuck they were trying to do with Klavier, but they didn't pull it off.
The overarching villains are both generally weakly executed and attached to weak overarching plots.
The first of the Apollo games is the worst of them but they never really fix these core problems. They just occasionally have some good standalone cases and a lot of really great characters/designs for witnesses on the stand.
