>>7034272Completely agree. She doesn't give them her own spin, it's just a more contained version of the same thing. There's nothing making her version special. It's as if she's completely ignoring all of the emotion meant to be conveyed through both the intensity of the vocals and the lyrics and just doing her thing.
I actually really liked the karaoke stream, however, and I was sure Palette would be great after her performance there, so she has the potential. Maybe these were recorded before she even debuted and she's just releasing them one by one?
As you said, her voice isn't bad, so she does have the potential, she just needs to find her style, her particular voice. I get also not wanting to show off too much with her senpai's songs, maybe, but then it's an issue with the choice of songs, she could have just picked the group ones like Adtruck, that would be cool as hell.
