Vtubers, due to their profession, are inherently parasocial vocations. They interact with fans who support them and in turn, continue to do what those fans love. It doesn't have to be romantic GFE content, but just by having a fanbase that cares about the well-being of a creator, a parasocial bond is formed.
What's so wrong about that?
Even Blues Clues was parasocial, because Steve was always there for you and twenty years later, he returned to praise you for growing up and to apologize for leaving.
Whether you like it or not, sharing your time together and having fun doing so is to become parasocial.
