>>69758176>Just sucks she's still considered radioactive in the vtuber sceneI would say it's a little more complex than that. Sayu's redemption arc has already happened. The community is giving her the chance and love she deserves, and no one has any more excuses to keep avoiding her. In fact, companies didn't really give a damn about her past, she was still getting huge sponsorships even before NijiEN went full mask off. Her numbers are great, her community is growing at a good pace, and even the people who initially came looking for drama are staying because they like Sayu's vibes.
The problem is that she is not really looking for more fans, what she really wants is to get back the circle of friends she lost when she was terminated. She is just a lonely and depressed girl who is really bad at making new friends.
I think she thought that after getting vindicated, everyone would call her and say how sorry they were for turning their back on her. But that probably didn't happen, and now she is kicking herself down after realizing (again) that maybe those people didn't really care about the nijidrama, perhaps they just didn't want to be her friends.
It doesn't help either that most of her previous friends are... pretty damn popular and loved by everyone, so a lot of her new fans are coming in expecting her to talk or even collaborate with them sooner or later.
She's in a really tough position right now, so let's continue supporting her and showering her with love
