How do you guys enjoy JP vtubers? I'm sure 90% of you don't know enough moon to actually follow the streams live so do you guys just watch subbed clips?

False, and there are dedicated translators in every stream helping out poor eops. You don't actually need that much jap to follow unless its a chat-only stream, if you've watched anime subtitled for a few years you'll definitly know enough to follow a live stream of a game.

Literally never watched a subbed clip, I'd rather watch with auto-translate that seems to live in a world of its own. I can understand most of their words and jokes anyway, enough to enjoy the live streams and if you can't then you must be either underage or a dumb boomer.

Personally I know enough nihongo to at least get the gist of what they are saying, but I usually only watch streams where the gameplay speaks for itself. For zatsudans I usually wait for translations

For me, it's been a source of inspiration for building my Japanese vocabulary and also it's just good practice. I still have pretty bad comprehension though but I feel like I'm improving slowly. Also >>697849 is my oshi.

Bunch of coping in here but I’ll admit I only really watch translated clips. I put korone or miko on my side monitors when they’re streaming because their noises are cute and I wanna give them views. I watch EN whenever it’s on because I can understand it.

Some of them you dont need to understand. Their enthusiasm and energy is enough to enjoy along. Pekora and Korone are good examples of this but I believe Roberu also fits this catagory very well.

Cuteness and enthusiasm doesnt need to be translated.

I watch clips at times but I've also been watching Subaru's streams mostly. She really is trying her best to include everyone and I appreciate it. She is honestly a really cool person to me and deserves a lot more attention.
