I tried to watch her streams in many occasions, but I can't because she is boring as hell and her voice sucks, her roommate's voice was way better than the current one. She has that amount of subscribers literally because of the meme, all these gigatonic views and superchats chumkeks keeps bringing up is from many months ago, shortly after she debuted and people were still interested in watch her streams. Now she will only get similar numbers in special events (like new outfit reveal) or when she plays some buff game (over time people lost interest even in her karaokes).
As I said before, she is just a meme, that's why she got a shit ton of subscribers in the beginning and people still subscribing to her literally because she is the most subscribed vtuber, people don't watch her streams. The "a" meme during her debut was really big and was all over the weeb internet and attracted a lot of normies who, over time, abandoned her for other EN members and all the chumkeks have to brag about now (besides the subscriber number, of course) is VOD views, but serious, who gives a fuck about VOD views ? She is a STREAMER, the amount of live viewers a streamer has says a lot about how entertaining he is, no one watch hours of VOD of a stream that already happened, at least I can't imagine something so retarded.
Anyways, that's it, Gura isn't bad but she is average as fuck, IRys is more of a vtuber than all the EN combined (except Ina and even the fucking chicken, even though I hate her, she works hard), but her ugly-ass model gave her a massive debuff.
