Artist rights superceed corp rights, so the character would belong to the artist that drew it/rigged it while songs would be credited to their respective writers.
The legal system would debate the matter furiously as the liver is technically a product of the corporation and anyone involved in the creation of the character would have done so under direction.
However if the corporation was tagged as an agency (or acted as such that the legal definition applied) the corp would have to relinquish the character. Additional compensation may be given at the discression of the court clerk.
Its a gross oversimplification but creative industries in the UK are always fucking scared of rouge artists.
