Sometimes, it can spiral out of control and, either through distillation by the fandom or actual lesbians with confirmation bias, people can become convinced that any girl who's ever yuribaited ever is a full-on man-hating dyke who's married to one of her coworkers, take any interaction between them as proof, and spread this belief via fanart. Sometimes, they'll even go years without any evidence, or the vtuber in question will significantly tone down the yuribaiting after the first few months of streaming, and they'll still feed off of crumbs they can twist to fit their view.
You tend to see it propagated a lot by the aforementioned actual lesbos, who, unfortunately, do make up big chunks of the western fanbase.
