Beggars fail to realize nobody actually likes mixed gender content when it comes to video content, especially live streaming. This shit predates vtubing itself, even if the opposite gender "collaborators" is off screen.
Many let's players in the past has fallen into the same trap. Cooking youtubers. Even gameplay "meme" channel can fall overnight due to the same errors.
We have seen it all since the dawn of youtube, which is why the unicorns are the wisest and perhaps, the oldest in vtubing audience age group. The content creator get married/lived together, they get no time to produce content. They collaborate with women, they had to joke around playing poorly in videogames, pissing off his best buddy that get dragged in the same stack. Women, or even males, start profitting off drama and rape accusations. Why is it "unicorn" friendly streamers rarely get indicted in such accusations? (well except if you're dumb enough to get involved with your fanbase initimately via discord and get accused with grooming allegations, then that's on them). Women attracts hostility from the other males. Male attracts himself as the "garbage bin" of insults in a group of women. There is no winning with working with mixed gender, unless you're producing offspring, and thats it. There are no noticeable productivity. No entertainment value, other than getting some small kicks over gender friction. The obvious condescending attitude towards the opposite sex is not cringekino, nor they are desireable to watch on stream. Sure some girl streamers can pull it off for a genuine bro-feel out of the box, but in EN? They're too few and far between.
Mixed gender internet content simply, does not work. It has been milked to death with "We are breaking up", or "She said yes!!" video posts that attracted bimbos and yass queen slay audience, but they never stuck with them for long. Women thought they enjoy initimate relationship between couples and the drama/misunderstandings/conflict that comes with them, but in reality, they are secretly fueling their seethe tanks because they are bunch of masochists that gets off enjoying people enjoy their lives with relationships they can't have.
I actually have typed several channels name, but I just don't feel like posting them and cut them out. But here's a few of them: AdmiralBulldog, Bon Apetit channel (really parallels with Niji hostile workplace environment and its downfall, drama discussed heavily on /ck/), Yogscast, and more.
We know it will go wrong, history keeps repeating itself. We're here to stop that happening in the first place, we're here to protect your precious oshis, your mental state and the hegemony of gender segregation to keep the CGDCT and bro-content wheel turning.
