>>70276100Me not believing her to be oblivious is exactly why I question her insistence. If there was even some form of notable increase in distance or at least more apparent segregation, I could at least cope with that. But right now Bae is equal to Kobo of all people in terms of how much of a bare minimum she does to account for it(remember that whiplash moment in Kobos concert?)
The point is that this constant mixing is simply going to continue to be a notable exception for homobeggars and shitposters to cling to. You can pretend that it's not the case, but the credibility for that argument increases with every instance of unicorn pandering holos avoiding or behaving in notably strange ways when participating in Bae's mixed-but-segregated content. I already gave examples above of exactly this happening with her concert and totsu.
There are simply a significant number of holos who have made it quite clear that they are not interested in being associated with homos. Associating with Bae alone is fine, but when it comes to mass scale interactions, Bae's current method of segregation still ends up muddying the waters to some extent. There are degrees of separation, and while Bae clearly is considerate of providing SOME degree of it, you could say the same of HLZNTL. And we all saw how even that degree of separation didn't get taken well. A similar incident on a smaller scale happened with Nene, who ended up crying on stream because of her noticing that she stopped seeing long-time supportive fans in her chat afterwards.
I would personally hope that Bae can at least come to a clearer understanding of the importance of minimizing potential malcontent(inb4 I get 'own the incel' tier responses to me saying this) in her content. If she is truly as self-sacrificing as brats claim she is, even if planning her content with an even greater degree of separation increases the complexity of her projects and personal workload, I feel like it would be something a truly self-sacrificing person would pursue.
After all, when Suisei booted the male guest from the stream for Kanatas sake, she did just that; booted him. Outright. She didn't seperate the stream into two panels, one with Kanata, and one with the guy. She respected Kanatas desire to not be associated with males in ANY way. And thus, the stream Kanata was in, did not feature that male at all. That to me was the level of segregation which showed me that Suisei truly respected Kanatas personal preferences.
Mind you, these same criticisms I have apply to Kobo, but I personally have a higher opinion of Bae than I do of Kobo(much higher lmao), which is coincidentally exactly WHY I wish I could see her play this balancing act of hers in a better way.
