I'm pretty sure she's been on 2.97m for a while. I think she only hit 2.9m early in the year. Translate that and you get a rough estimate of a month for her to get 10k subs. So, 3 months whenever she first hit 2.97m and she'll be at 3m. Of course, Gura will be at 3.5m around then if she keeps up the pace.

I mean, it's getting a bit difficult to believe that 10k new weebs are deciding to sub to her in the 1-2 day intervals that she's been gaining subs. Like we're way past the point of the entire global weeb population knowing what VTubers are. Like I said, we're way past the point of the global weeb population knowing about VTubers and hololive in general. Anyone in weeb or weeb-adjacent circles would have encountered Gura and watched something of hers months ago. Any interest of her would have seen a massive spike in subs months ago and then a petering away. Instead, we have a roughly linear growth rate for the past few months. It's just really odd.

I love numbers I love when Cover wins some I love when Niji wins some I love how low .Live and Ulimited and Brave groups are but no amount of those matter when Ai chan is brought up.

Ai chan is basically a god to the community and Gura beating her in subs means nothing, Gura is where she is through the hard works of Ai chan and others at Hololive, Ai chan got to where she is whole on her own Gura piggy back ridded, and while she was indeed very popular as Sen she would've never exceeded her mil there without becoming Gura.

I feel like any falseflag or even true Chumbud attempt to throw shade are sad, no one will say " I got into VTubing because of Gawr Gura" where many on record including most of the original 4 kings have said as much as well as many other corpos and indies, Aichan is all over billboards and has a TV show in Japan, Gura only on merch that her fans can get only from Cover directly it's just simply not worth comparing them at all, gura is a galaxy but Ai is the entire Universe.
