Sony had been taking 50% of their income, for what?? They got zero support and management, it was literally worse than Niji. The only reason nobody went nuclear (Doki/Selen-style), is because all the girls are actually genuine friends with each other and care about all the time they've spent building up Prism into what it is.
Sony gave them three options last year.
1. Quit (and lose everything)
2. Leave on amicable terms (and keep IP) in March 2024 when Prism gets closed down
3. Join VEE once Prism is closed down
I genuinely hope all the girls do well as indie but I know a lot are upset about it. People join companies to reach more fans and get support to create more things and that chance was just taken from them.
