Mococo drags out the vowel sound in the middle until it sounds like two syllables, with the first half being stressed and the second half being softer or unstressed. Listen closely next time you watch her and you'll probably notice pretty quickly how the emphasis changes in the middle of the syllable.
In english, you only change emphasis when moving from one syllable to another, but this is one of those obscure cadence rules that nobody actually teaches ESLs (you usually just kinda learn from hearing people talk) so sometimes folks get it wrong.
