>>7061177Hololive has a number of the most entertaining and unique chubas. Not all.of them. But they have branding, subtitled skits, and global outreach where as other jp chubas don't expand beyond japan. This is why they're globally relevant.
The en chubas are all just a byproduct of hololive jp's notoriety, which itself was a product of chink clip spam. They're not even the only interesting chubas. It's just that the others don't have the notoriety, communities, clippers or translators.
I'm always diaappointed by how duopolistic vt is. Instead of shitposting about a rotating list of colorful new chubas and searching for even greater lolz, the vtubing community is insufferably enthralled by a handful of companies and never seems to expand its horizons.
It's literally mlp tier, where tge board is filled with the exact same single character generals ad infinitum. Honestly wish character and fetish generals would get banned, freeing up room for more varied discussion than just simping the usual suspects for the umpteenth time.
