Because the white man was the only barbarian who defeated them(Vietnam not withstanding). Many Asian peoples and entire nations end up killing themselves, trying to accomplish what comes naturally to the white man. It’s sad really. I pity them. Asians deserve to be happy.
Asians were only truly happy; when they were left alone to their own devices and ruled by themselves. Which resulted in many golden ages. But sadly they turned a blind eye to the outside world. And looked upon it with contempt and disdain. Leading them to stagnate culturally and technologically, then be taken over by better armed barbarians with guns.
P.S. Asian culture is brutally hierarchical. I know very little. But senpai culture in Japan does not surprise me one bit. I know that the Chinese have a more extreme familial form of it, where there are special titles granted to each and every family member depending on age, relation to you, and birth order. It’s really brutal. That’s why most Asians who come to America freak the fuck out and go insane experiencing any sort of freedom and lack of strict hierarchy for the first time in their lives. Many end up on drugs because they can’t cope.
