Cover being the standard for vtubing success isn't a good thing given their track record of making huge mistakes. Coco would've made a much better niji. Just try imagine the timeline where she joined nijisanji instead, became a breakout hit with the global audience, and the standard for successful vtubing became fun and unfettered instead of micromanaged and sanitized.
It's too late now, but in hindsight she chose the wrong agency.
