>>70761764I have a general suspicion Niji is the exception not the rule (well maybe Wactor). Just looking at financials, they make huge profits by keeping expenditures bottom of the barrel low. While the other companies contracts are unlikely to be sunshine and rainbows, they're at least more equitable from surface observations.
-Cover, we all know has less restrictive contracts and much better revenue share. The sheer fact they can use PL accounts makes it instantly better
-Vshojo - US based so needs to conform with US labor laws. Had a few soft graduations but nothing too drastic, all kept models and apart from some "woman" moments seem to be fine.
-Phase - Based in Canada and needs to conform to Canadian laws. They have 1 termination in history and they didn't commit PR suicide doing it.
-Any of the ones owned by Sony - Maybe, they killed Prism by sheer neglect, but they did the girls a solid by letting them keep their models. Vee I don't know much about but more music oriented so probably more in-line with recording deals. Unlikely to be awful lopsided contracts. Sony are cunts but very experienced in the music/entertainment industry so I'd expect them to know how to not fuck themselves over in terms of shitty contracts.
-IdolCorp- 4/11 talents have graduated, which is concerning. Lots of terminations/graduations is the 1st sign not all is well. One termination involved a sex scandal between management and a talent. Handled ok in terms of PR.
-Production Kawaii - Had a whole gen graduate en masse. However in their defense, it sounds like they disagreed with the direction of the company - ie idol duties. So less of a contractual/workplace issue rather a personnel issue. Square pegs in round holes. But I think I've watched 2 streams so the PK general bros would be better qualified to give an opinion.
