"Hag" as I've come to understand it came from Marine or some other woman worrying about her advancing age. Her worries were about the audience leaving her for another younger talent. But the audience are also aging. Some drift will happen but most people stay with what they have grown to love.
But 30 is still a goalpost number for women, and they'll continue to set that as their graduation date. The day they get serious about finding man to settle down with. So we're trying to keep them with the slogan "The age of 30 is in demand!"
