>>70886051It's all marketing and psychology. Back in the day, we were taught to associate being a "D" with being a little overweight, but still tastefully curvy. Buying an to "E" was like admitting you were fat. So marketers came up with "DD" so you wouldn't be so hesitant to buy a new bra as you put on weight or had kids. For some countries or brands, there may be no DD at all.
In some countries, or for some brands, the DD size is actually a size between D and E. So it goes C, D, DD, E.
For other brands they just use "DD" instead of E, so it goes C, D, DD, F.
Sizing is more inconsistent and more awful the larger you go.
