Did you drop in from hololive or god forbid nijisanji?
With 6 talents funding it with regular streams AND NSFW content, it wouldn't be surprising at all to fund a part time team, the same way all small and mid size agencies do. They don't need to work a 9-5 job as a manager for example.
Say on average they make $1k per month each which is already a lowball since the funder makes a lot more than that herself already. Give a 10% cut for taxes processing fees and other cuts. That's already $900 and not $700 giving $180x6= $1080 monthly.
This doesn't account for sub/donothons or birthdays, debuts or other events.
This is not hololive, she's open to making concerts happen and similar events if the talents want but they aren't trying to fund a giant corporation with hundreds of employees and mega concerts and fancy animated music videos.
The most obvious merch route is to guide the talents but give them free reign, get an idea for how many items for sale, limited time and made to order with a 3rd party company, like every indie chuuba or corporation even holo. This part is just speculation.
The promotions have already been bankrolled at a temporary loss by the funder herself.
