Can we officially call 5th gen a failure compared to ENs? Even with that model and fewer subs IRyS mogs Lamy this hard in JP prime time. Not to mention none of them hit 1 Million subs when even Kiara did

Gen 5 is still fairly successful even after the whole Aloe fiasco shot them in the foot right from the start. If the server merge happens with the sheer amount they all stream Minecraft I could see them getting a bump if they tool around the EN side from EOP viewers.

Overall the numbers mean different things.
JP viewers are more inclined to spend money and are relevant market capture for Covers other activities such as product endorsements, sponsorships, merchandise and live events.

The english market is generally a lot less willing to be parted from its money and more likely to ignore product placement.
So in terms of Covers revenue a JP girl with 3.9k viewers is worth a lot more than a EN girl with 9k viewers.

As for IRyS. Despite all the doomers (Nijinigger false flaggers) shitting on her constantly it seems like she is going to settle into a viewer base of 8k to 10k, right below Amelia, but above Mori/Kiara. She is going to do just fine. She does need to learn how to hype up her cover songs better and actually set premieres for them instead of just uploading. Premieres create hype.

Probably because they were made under a short time frame, and pretty much got them processed by the time she got to upload them anyway. Premieres need to be finished and uploaded in advance, after all.

The only other alternative to this was that the Holos requested not to premier the covers, which IRyS would honor in good faith anyway.
