Not sure why some people still doubt Gura's popularity. She had the best selling merch in Hololive with Dino Gura. They say it's all design or it's the covid boost but we are in the 3rd year going toward the 4th anniversary and it doesn't seem like it's waning. She's actually doing much better with less streams.
Then you've got to put this into perspective. This is her when she's not going all out. This is like base Goku. If she got truly serious and went super saiyan on streams, releasing music, collabing with anime, taking lots of sponsorships, interviewing celebs, and collabing with other people outside of Hololive, this might actually look smaller by comparison. She hasn't had her Krillin moment that has activated this drive. Consciously or unconsciously, she's suppressing her power level and this is still the result. If Gura ever gets rid of the nervousness and burdens holding her back, I think some people would be begging her to stay the lazy shark they call her now.
