>>71906374>the only thing we can confirm is that they purchased an extra button for Fuwamoco with apparently no cost to them, and then shipped both. This is true and a wonderful symbolic thing of hololive to do, really shows the kind of attitude they have towards their talents and is a great role model for other vtuber agencies
>Honestly, it'd be weirder if they didn't have an extra copy for themselves. It's not exactly expensive, and a hall of buttons does sound like a good idea, as long as they're not the only ones in existence. Again it's subjective, but I disagree and I think it's a bad look
Cover is more about celebrating the talents themselves than their numbers, and a play button is an inherently numberfaggy way to celebrate their achievements; it'll make the office look more like it cares about numbers and more like a hallway for shareholder meeting invitations than a show of support and pride for the talents
Also what about if there are talents who fall below the numbers for a play button? Or what about talents with more than one play button? Are you going to put both of them on the wall, while others without enough numbers get none? What are the talents themselves going to feel if they take a look at the wall and see it like some kind of comparison board?
This is just not the way Cover does things, not the way they think about their talents, and not the type of image they try to have
It makes more sense to celebrate the achievements of your talents through little symbolic memorabilia like album covers or event posters or the little fan-made takos Yagoo keeps on his desk that he was gifted by a fan at a convention one time, and I assume (and hope) this is the way they style their office and studios in general
