Chronic diseases (which she doesn't even have ... yet?) these days are manageable and what kills people are unmonitored health conditions that sneak up on them.
Here is an advice:

I saw some relatively young people croak in the past 5 years because they never actually checked for serious but treatable diseases and when the symptoms are felt it's too late.
Meanwhile I know some old folks that had a bout with some chemo 15 years ago and are there, alive and kicking because they keep their stuff in check
