It was something Nina told to Zaion in confidence, and for whatever reason it caused a rift between the two, and Matara visibly ghosted Sayu.
A few months later, after the Dokibird thing happened, she went on False's stream and did an interview, and at some point she tried to apologize publicly to Matara. She's been very clear that whatever happened, she acknowledges she did something wrong, and she's been civil and she understands if Matara doesn't forgive her. I don't think Sayu's fans really hold anything against Matara for it, either.
The way, way bigger issue is her constantly interacting with and promoting Quinn. THAT is kinda unforgivable, regardless of how Matara feels about Sayu.
