However, then she became a vtuber inspired by Hololive, where is where things get complicated, and I understand the "hypocite" sentiment here considering that a lot of hololive members openly joke about lolicon, with a few being genuine enthusiasts. In Asia - and particualrly in Japan - lolicon doesn't have the same taboo as it does in the states - real child rape does, but they're able to draw a fairly mentally healthy line between fantasy and reality. In the west, there's a widespread perception that if the sexual reality of something is taboo, then the sexual fantasy of it must be too. I honestly just think this is something she'd never thought about before and wasn't really prepared for. However, considering all the horrible shit this place has done to her and her family, I don't blame her for not feeling that she owes this place an explanation or clarification.
