She CAN'T acknowledge that damage. It's literally illegal for her to do so - she'd get fired for damaging the company's reputation, which would severely limit her future employment options to either "minimum wage konbini clerk" or "off-the-books employee at a yakuza-run soapland"; she'd get sued into complete and utter destitution, and would be forced to pay Niji more money than she could ever earn working 30-40 years as a minimum wage konbini clerk; and there's a non-zero chance that Niji would get the police involved, which means she'd be risking several years in prison for expressing even the slightest bit of remorse over not wishing Zaion well (or for, you know, working as an off-the-books employee at a yakuza-run soapland in order to try to pay off her civil penalties to Niji)
Also compare her and Finana's comments on Zaion, to Elira and Vox's comments on Selen. And in the near future, compare those comments to (TBD) and (TBD)'s comments on Scarle. And also note that the contract allows Niji to force the talents to make public statements, even if the talents don't agree with those statements.
