The VR "team" is like half of the "Holo X Break" dev team because it's like two people. Kiara got them her egg earlier today, which isn't a huge delay but adds to other stuff they still needed to work out.
And I'd bet that the score board needs information from the players, their username most likely so it's exactly the kind of thing that can't be figured out until the stream starts.
