>>72705432I've got nothing personal against the Stars, they can go ahead and collab with anyone outside Hololive, or even with the Hololive girls that want to collab with them, so basically the way things currently are. Hololive fans do not want to watch that content and they have no reason to change that preference. Hololive streamers understand that and cater to them, because it ensures their popularity and income. It doesn't matter if you don't agree with this situation, there are other places for you to find content you enjoy.
>>72705492Correct, nor do I want to be one. My values wouldn't match well with the ones in Japanese society. I enjoy their content and language, but I'm proud of my own culture as well. "Purity" isn't even a Japanese concept anyway, the male collab debuff applies to the EN girls too, whom I also watch (whenever possible, yuropoor so times suck).
>>72705705They have been competing with each other for years now, being neck and neck, Hololive may gain a permanent upper hand this year depending on whether Nijisanji unfucks itself or not. The meteoric rise of Hololive to 2nd place to begin with was due to them focusing on the then largely untapped market of "cgdct" enjoyed, who ended up forming what is now the Hololive fanbase. Turns out the demand for such content is very high. Cover went mining for copper and found gold, why should they stop? Especially as the miners next mountain over are blowing themselves up with explosives.
>>72706243Indeed, the ones you posted are successful while also collabing with men. They have normalfag appeal that boosts their subs, and their views for music-related content. These kinds of talents are useful for promoting Hololive to an even wider audience, which benefits the whole company, but also unfortunately invites dregs like you that wish to destroy it.
I can't help but notice you've excluded the top 3 talents, Gura, Marine and Pekora, from your list, as well as Korone, Miko and Aqua to complete the top 10. Of the top 10, 6 do not collab with males. Those 6balso get higher ccv. Marine and Pekora also have the 3rd and 4th highest SC earnings in 2023 (behind Koyori and Chloe, who also do not collab with males), while the highest earner from your list is Calli, 13th, behind Korone who is 10th.
Even then, Suisei and Fubuki do not collab with males very often, and when they do it's mostly in a professional setting, something most fans will accept. Calli and Kobo, under western/Indonesian influence, collab with males more casually, which has slashed the amount of people willing to watch their normal streams. Kobo is enjoying more success because her main audience, indos, don't mind the male collabs that much, and there are lots of them, but they don't donate as much, meaning she gains subs but disproportionately less income.
All in all, while "mixed collab" talents can find success in Hololive (a testament to Hololive's "talent freedom", really), the top talents all tend to be "pure idols".
