I tend to forget that because of my younger years.
I had children ten and under in mind and because of their age didn’t suspect them capable enough to send well conveyed spoilers or backseat instructions.

In my anecdotal experience, most are North American and that’s about it.
And most of the foreigners I’ve interacted with or seen have had a distinct ESL vibe.
Just to specify, I’m referring currently exclusively to JP streams, and it may apply to other foreign streams as well.
But I’m sure you’re absolutely correct in the case of EN streams.
