They are perfect, or at least supposed to be perfect and yet they fundamentally can't be, because they are half human, humans were made in the image of God and they are imperfect by default, so they can be much more if they want to or can, something that Angels aren't on purpose, they were made to be perfect and do God's will, impossible tasks, so of course only perfect beings can finish them.
The end result?, Someone who looks perfect but is one of the most flawed living beings to ever exist, because yes, being half human means these things have a human soul even if their bodies and powers scream "higher than you", which is why it is understandable that they could barely relate to people often or at all. And they can't do a thing about it. Not to mention. They are mortal, they can die just like any other human can, the real challenge is killing one somehow, but some might as well have offered themselves to the slaughter by pushing their luck by crossing between the motal and spiritual realm more than once, forgetting that despite everything, they are still the sons and daughters of mortal women, Giant or not, a mortal is a mortal, even if only by half.
