Why doesn't Flare want to be called Noel's husband anymore? Did Noel's mental problems push her to the limit?

My guess is that Noel has been too clingy and demanding to Flare. She sees Flare in a traditional boyfriend role and asks for attention, money and gifts all the time. Not only that, but this behavior is being constantly enabled by their fanbase.

Flare doesn't want to confront Noel and blame her because she's afraid of the tantrum and breakdowns. This is why she's venting out to her fanbse and asking them to stop calling her a husband and treat her as the wife she always wanted to be. She's a girl, after all, and she wants to be equal in the relationship. She wants to have someone to rely on.
