>>73029813While you are right, you're also wrong
Explaining why you're wrong is complicated though, the simplest way I can think of describing is that when everybody is a hololive fan, everything afterwards comes from hololive fans...which also includes all the ones that drift away from Hololive either partially or fully over the years
So now all the vtubing fans here who watch things that aren't hololive, are still rooted in Hololive. Because a persons introduction to their favorite hobby will always inform their general opinions going forward.
But it doesn't stop there, because in here, the Vtubers that people are watching outside of Hololive ALSO started off as Hololive fans
So you have a situation where the discussion /here/ is no longer dominated by Hololive discussion...but it also sort of is, because the vtubers exist as they do because of them being fans of Hololive, are talked about by people here because the posters were fans of Hololive, and they like those vtubers because they behave closer to what is expected from vtubers in Hololive, which they cater to because they started as fans of Hololive so it informs the vtubers own impressions of what vtubers should be like, which effectively makes every single discussion on this board rooted fundamentally kn Hololive
Even when the discussion isn't about Hololive anymore
The point is, when a significant portion of /vt/ is non-holo discussion, but 99% of /vt/ is made up of people who started out as holofans, and thus are holofan clay, what do you call it?
