>>73284633I have not, but I do have more inside knowledge of *that* incident, how NijiEN runs, how much the talents earn as well as the general pros and cons. For a mostly 2-view like me, it’s a quick and easy way for me to be discovered, but yes, the reputation of the company will bring me down.
>>73284782That is a really useful article actually, I had no idea about that
> most people are just there to watchI accept that! I just never knew why
>>73284814This is incredibly helpful! So basically you don’t like being in the spotlight because you feel pressure?
>>73284935I reckon I have a decent chance of getting in as they had interviewed me before, but unfortunately it didn’t proceed.
As you said, it’s very competitive so there’s no guarantee that I’ll ever be able to get in any time soon, especially at their debut rate. That’s why I thought the second best option would be Niji…
So do you think it’s better I join a small corpo while trying for Holo, as opposed to going for Niji?
>>73285249That’s basically my biggest issue. I don’t know if I can be an indie for that long. It’s so difficult and soul-crushing to do everything by myself with zero support. I really want to do Vtubing full time without having to rely on donations and super chats. My dream is to be able to survive other factors like VOD views and memberships etc. I could get that with Niji easily, even in the state it’s in now.
>>73285901Yeah that’s what I usually do! I was just confused when people had breakdowns over me asking them a question, because I never knew what social anxiety was like from that POV until I read about it in this thread. I feel awful for guilting people into chatting with me now…
>>73286019Thank you so much!
>>73287023Okay got it! I always worry people might feel left out/upset if they make a comment and I don’t read it, that’s why I try to read them all.
