I don't think she has it in her to play the villain. After all, good villains are far more nuanced and complex characters than murderhobo heroes. Villains are proactive and have a serious goal or motivation. They drive the story and set the pace at which events take place.
It's not the kind of persona you can just pull out of thin air unless you have it in you...or you're already a complete suicopath. Portraying a dark character isn't for rank amateurs.
