"Valued at __" can mean literally anything so they didn't openly say shit, but at least half that budget is going to the design/model alone and if there's a song it'll take several thousand dollars plus an iPhone X ("streaming assets") for about another thousand which altogether is about the same support that any company gives

Even if it's' true it'll definitely bite them on the ass in the future. Earning back that money is gonna take a long time for how small v4mirai is right now. I wouldn't be surprised if the entire corpo gets dissolved in 1-2 years

I think lore videos are the biggest financial trap for starting vtubers right now. People think it's industry standard so they sink thousands into them when the audience just cares about the base concept and will maybe watch it once and forget about it afterwards.
